SF murder suspect arrested at BART in San Leandro in connection with fatal stabbing

police inside SanFrancisco released more information about a murder arrest over the weekend.

Johnathan Wright, 36, He was busted for fare evasion from a BART station in San Leandro early Sunday morning and was also wanted for murder in San Francisco.According to police and jail records.

Wright was arrested by BART Police just after midnight Sunday morning at the Bay Fair station on suspicion of ticket evasion. BART Police listed it as temporary.

Wright was also booked into San Francisco County Jail #2 just after 8 a.m. on suspicion of murder, according to jail records. He is being held without bail.

just before 6 a.m. on Nov. 13, according to San Francisco police. Police teams intervened in Market and Main streets regarding a person who lost blood.. Police teams arrived at the scene and found an injured man. It was determined that the person named died at the scene.

Investigators identified Wright as a suspect and determined probable cause to obtain an arrest warrant for murder.

Around 3 a.m. Sunday, SFPD officers went to San Francisco General Hospital to meet with BART Police, who located and arrested Wright for a search warrant.

San Francisco officers detained Wright, who was transported to San Francisco County, where he was arrested on suspicion of murder.
