£5,000 worth of meat stolen from restaurant accuses Salt Bae of ‘taking the fruit’

A steakhouse notorious for a row with internet chef Salt Bae claims £5,000 worth of luxury meat was stolen.

In 2021, Relentless Steak and Lobster in Portsmouth publicly criticized internet sensation Nusret Gökçe, known as Salt Bae, after he started selling gold-plated steak for £630. Nusr-Et restaurant in KnightsbridgeCentral London.

Scott Matthews, the owner of the steakhouse at the time, Mr. Gökçe He gave up on “taking the mic” and recreated the dish himself for £500 less and sold it to customers.

Now the restaurant is taking to social media to help recover a packet of meat stolen from the premises in Portsmouth’s Port Solent between 11pm on Thursday and 5am on Friday.
