Trumbull County Common Pleas Judge Ronald Rice sentenced Parker to 24 to 28 years in prison. Parker will also be required to register as a Tier 2 sex offender.

“You are losing your freedom,” Judge Rice said.

Parker before Pleaded guilty to eight crimesincluding three counts of unlawful use of a minor in nudity-oriented material or performance, three counts of solicitation of sexually explicit subject matter involving a minor, one count of gross sexual imposition, and one count of obscenity involving a minor.

“What I did was wrong. “I regret it every day,” Parker told the court.

The victim’s mother asked the court to keep Parker under supervision so he can receive therapy.

Assistant Prosecutor Gabe Wildman said the court didn’t need to embrace his “ridiculous attitude.” Wildman called Parker both “dangerous” and “predatory.”

Parker was placed on unpaid leave in August when he was first charged in the case.

According to a complaint, Parker was accused of sharing explicit videos of sexual acts with minors, photographing a child naked, and then sharing the image online to receive other sexually explicit images of children. The prosecutor said the crimes occurred in Weathersfield.
