Five murder arrests in 1994 death of taxi driver

Police said four men, aged 51, 52, 57 and 64, and a 47-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of murder on Wednesday.

It was stated that those arrested were from the Sneinton and Bakersfield areas of Nottingham and there will be a large police presence in the area while investigations continue.

Deputy Chief Constable Rob Griffin said the force had “received a number of calls from the public” since the appeal was launched.

“Please continue to share our appeal and contact us with any information you may have,” he added.
