Will the 'United States of America' end in 2031? Alexa made a 'worrying' prediction!

Amazon Alexa has a scary update for the United States, and it’s a pretty ‘worrying’ one. The artificial intelligence-supported virtual assistant device made a disturbing prediction about the future of the United States, which was recently captured and shared on TikTok. The video has now gone viral on many social media platforms.

‘Prophecy’:

Content creator Lucy Blake recently shared a video on the video-sharing social media platform TikTok in which the virtual assistant is heard making a disturbing prediction about the United States. In the video that went viral on TikTok, Lucy Blake’s sister casually asked Alexa what will happen to the United States on February 20, 2031. Responding to this, Alexa said, “On February 20, 2031, the United States of America will cease to exist. “This date marks the culmination of a process of unification between various governments that most people disapprove of.”
Alexa’s prediction that the United States would ‘cease to exist’ in less than a decade sparked alarm across social media. Content creator Lucy Blake first posted the video on TikTok and it quickly became popular on other social media platforms. The clipping has so far garnered over two million views since it was posted earlier this month.

Reactions:

After the video went viral, netizens are now busy discussing its implications and reality. While some social media users described the prediction as a hoax or a glitch in the virtual assistant, others expressed concern about the spooky nature of the prediction.
One Another wrote: “These should always be approached with caution. You can program them in the backend to say anything you want. Then, when the key phrase is spoken, it will be repeated as if it were real.” “Anyone can create a question to send to Alexa and add a user-provided answer. People do this to make videos like this to get attention,” another user said.
However, content creator Lucy Blake claimed the ‘spooky’ response only occurred once and that the home device no longer gave the same response when prompted. Instead, her “brand new Alexa” simply responds, “I don’t know.”
Some other netizens did not hesitate to give humorous reactions to the ‘prediction’. One quipped: “This solved everything! I’m not paying off my student loans anymore.” Another said: “This looks like a future me celebration.” Another said: “Okay but why do we have to wait so long? Can we speed up the process?”
