Centralia Police arrest three men for home invasion and mob action

Centralia Police issued three Mt. Vernon resident arrested.

The three people in custody were identified as Leshanna Derixson, 21, and Lee Derixson, 21, of 15th Street, and Eric Nabors, 21, of College Street. All three are charged with trespassing, mob action and criminal damage to property. Leshanna Derixson was also charged with three counts of aggravated battery. He is accused of hitting one of the two residents of the home in the head with a stick. The victim went to SSM Health St. for treatment. He was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital. Additionally, Nabors was arrested on one count of aggravated battery and Lee Derixson was arrested on one count of misdemeanor battery.

Centralia Police say three men kicked in the door of the house when they came to pick up items left behind after two of the three men and one of their mothers had moved out earlier. While most of the belongings were left on the porch, it appears the mother’s dog was inside the house, leading to a fight.

The victim, who was allegedly hit with a stick, had previously allegedly cut Lee Derixson with a knife. It did not require hospital treatment.

The incident was reported to the police at 09:01 on Tuesday morning.
