Sprite releases a limited edition ‘Winter Spiced Cranberry’ every holiday season, and fans can’t get enough of this cranberry-flavored lemon soda.

But its popularity is a double-edged sword, as it often flies off the shelves.

First introduced by Coca-Cola in 2019, this seasonal beverage reimagines the classic Sprite Cranberry with a warm spice twist.

‘Winter Spiced Cranberry’ is a fan-favorite seasonal drink among soda lovers.

Both Sprite Winter Spiced Cranberry and Sprite Winter Spiced Cranberry Zero Sugar are now available and are generating excitement among loyal fans.

Fans can stock up on seasonal beverages in both cans and bottles.

“These things are one of the only good things about winter,” one fan wrote on Reddit.

‘Winter sucks but at least I’m getting Sprite cranberries,’ they added.

‘I’ve been so conservative with my stash from last year that I still have a few cans,’ said one stockerer.

‘This is my favorite! I’ve been looking forward to this all year!’ A third agreed.

Some are concerned about the fate of the flavor after the company canceled Coca Cola Spiced earlier this year, just six months after launching it.

The launch of Spiced was intended to attract more Gen Z drinkers, but it faced significant backlash due to declining sales.

Spicy, which costs $1 per can or $2.20 for a 20-ounce bottle, was introduced as a permanent flavor with a high-profile campaign earlier this year.

However, it soon received complaints that the taste was confusing and ‘not actually spicy’.

Despite Spiced’s failure, Coca-Cola is still the leading producer of soft drinks in the United States and around the world.

Its former rival, which previously competed with Pepsi for first place, has now surpassed Dr Pepper.

Coca-Cola has nearly 20 percent of the $97 billion soda market in America. Pepsi’s market share was 8.31 percent and Dr Pepper’s was 8.34 percent.
