Missing Alabama teenager died in crash, sheriff’s office says

A missing 15-year-old Alabama boy who was last seen driving a truck early Thursday morning died in a crash, authorities said Friday.

Christian Miguel Rojo, 15, was last seen driving a 2014 gray Toyota Tacoma at 1392 County Road 485 in Fort Payne around 5:30 a.m. Thursday morning.

The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office said Friday that Christian was killed in a crash.

Efforts to reach the DeKalb County coroner were not immediately successful, but WAFF The coroner reportedly responded to the area near where Christian was last seen to investigate Christian’s death.

The sheriff’s office said it could not provide further details due to the teen’s age, except to say the investigation had been turned over to traffic accident investigators with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
