Clemson Tigers Seen as Favorites for Versatile All-Star High School Football Team

for Clemson Tigers Recruitment is very important for the football team.

They need to turn to players coming out of high school, as head coach Dabo Swinney hasn’t used the transfer portal like some of his rivals. If the transfer portal is ignored, it’s the only way to fill the roster with talent season after season.

Moreover, Clemson doesn’t like committed players visiting other schools. Oddities like this can sometimes limit the player pool, as elite prospects will see what other programs have to offer.

Unfortunately, this was little deterrent for Swinney and his friends.

The Tigers are consistently recruiting and recruiting top-ranked players as they currently have several five-star players on their roster. However, their rankings in the 2025 class are falling.

Clemson in a recent update remained outside the top 20which is far from ideal. But there’s still time for the coaching staff to add some impact players to the mix.

Listed at 6-foot-4 and 184 pounds, he is one of the most respected athletes in the class. He currently ranks 5th among players without a specific position and 134th overall.

“While some view Young as a ball-handling dynamo on offense, perhaps his highest ceiling is running the back end of the defense as a ball-handling safety. His ball-handling skills will benefit him there, and Young has the skills to be elite,” he wrote. Brad Shepard of Bleacher Report.

The native of Monroe, North Carolina, certainly looks like he will stay in the area with an ACC school. North Carolina State Wolfpack And Florida State Seminoles They would both love to have it.

But the Tigers appear to have the upper hand in this recruiting race.

Sam Spiegelman from Rivals.com He shared that Clemson is “leaning” to be the school of Young’s choice.

He revealed that the high school star had met with the team several times. Chad Simmons from On3 He said he met with Clemson nine or 10 times; and that was before his last visit.

With his announcement set for early November, it appears Swinney and the Tigers have their claws sinking into Young and aren’t letting go.
