At least one person was reportedly killed and five others injured when a Russian drone crashed into a 25-storey residential building in Kiev on Friday night.

Emergency response teams were dispatched to the scene of the attack to intervene in the fire that broke out on the upper floor of the building due to the strike.

Air defense units were reportedly deployed during the hour-long air raid alert.
