Police say New Bedford man faces charges in Boston stabbing

A New Bedford man was arrested in connection with an incident Friday. Knife attack incident in which a person’s life was in dangerAccording to the Boston Police Department.

Nathaniel Almeida, 46, of New Bedford, was arrested around 2:48 p.m. by police officers assigned to Boston’s South End neighborhood, the statement said. He was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery, threatening to commit a crime and intimidating a witness.

Officers responded to 474 Massachusetts Ave. near the intersection of Tremont Street. They responded to the area and found an unidentified man “suffering from multiple stab wounds” around 2:48 p.m.
