Police say cyclist identified in two-vehicle crash in Bedford

BEDFORD, Ohio — The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner found: Woman trapped under car dies during the accident while cycling on Friday morning.

Linda K. Conger, 59, died in the crash that occurred around 9:15 a.m. at an auto dealership on Rockside Road near Broadway Boulevard, Bedford police said in a news release. Police did not say where Conger lived.

Police said the Bedford Fire Department was called to the business after a bicyclist, later identified as Conger, was reported to have collided with two cars and was pinned under one of the cars.

Fire crews arriving at the scene determined that Conger died at the scene. They treated the other two drivers.

Police reported that the investigation into the accident is continuing by the accident investigation unit.
