Syracuse Police responded to two stabbings overnight

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Two people were stabbed overnight in the city of Syracuse. The stabbings were two separate incidents and both victims are said to be in stable condition.

The first stabbing took place just after 10pm on Friday. Syracuse Police Officers responded to the 1100 block of North Salina Street for a stabbing call. Officers found a 22-year-old woman who had been stabbed multiple times in the upper body. It was learned that the woman, who was taken to University Hospital, was in good condition.

The second stabbing occurred at 3:30 a.m. Saturday in the 200 block of Seymour Street. Police teams were called to the scene upon a complaint of stabbing. When they arrived, they found a 31-year-old man stabbed in the arm. The 31-year-old man, who was slightly injured, was taken to University Hospital and treated.
