Teen arrested for stealing from a local business in Wisconsin

WASHINGTON, Wisconsin (WFRV) — A 16-year-old Wisconsin teenager was arrested Sunday morning after being accused of burglarizing a local business.

According to the Sauk County Sheriff’s OfficeThe incident occurred on October 20, 2024, shortly before 8:15 a.m. Deputies responded to a report of a theft at Narrows Valley Supply in Washington, where money, clothing, hunting and fishing equipment and ammunition were stolen.

A detective identified the suspect as a 16-year-old juvenile from Elroy and located items allegedly stolen during the burglary at the suspect’s home. The teenager later confessed to the crime.

The teen is charged with theft, possession with intent to deliver THC (less than or equal to 200 grams) and obstructing an officer. The file will be sent to the juvenile court.
