Police say a man was arrested for allegedly threatening to blow up an Ulta Beauty store

(Gray News) – Authorities arrested a Louisiana man who allegedly threatened to blow up an Ulta Beauty store in Alabama.

According to the complaint, 42-year-old Timothy Lincoln was allegedly overheard by an Ulta employee making a phone call outside of work. WRBL reported.

During the meeting, Lincoln reportedly said, “I’m going to blow this shit up!” He was alleged to have said. This statement resulted in the evacuation of all store employees and customers.

Opelika officers were called to the scene and Lincoln was taken into custody.

His mugshot shows writing and markings in various colors all over Lincoln’s face. However, officials did not comment on the signs.

Lincoln was banned from Ulta for life.

Making terroristic threats is a Class C crime under Alabama law. The crime carries a maximum prison sentence of 10 years if convicted.
