New Delhi, Oct 27 (PTI) A court here convicted a man who kidnapped a minor to force him to beg, saying there was no reason not to believe the credible evidence of witnesses, Additional Sessions Judge Pankaj Arora, who heard the case against Abdul Ahad, said. “There is no reason not to believe the testimony of the prosecution witnesses. “The testimony of the prosecution witnesses is clear, convincing, reliable and gives confidence to this court,” he said.

“Accordingly, the accused was convicted for the offenses punishable under section 363A (kidnapping or maiming a minor for the purpose of begging) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC),” he added.
