Mbinga, dumped by Ginimbi’s manager for cheating, now accused of rape: ‘He forged HIV results and removed condom’

Pretoria – Prominent Zimbabwean businessman Trevor Simbarashe Mbizvo, known as the “Commander from Hell”, is facing serious rape and fraud charges following allegations that he forged an HIV health certificate and knowingly exposed his South African girlfriend, Laisy Ramokone, to the virus. Mbizvo is scheduled to appear in the Pretoria Magistrates Court on November 7.

Details of the case are set out in an excerpt from Ramokone’s forthcoming autobiography: Love, Ego and HitmanIt is planned to be released next year. Ramokone explains how he and Mbizvo, who is known for flaunting his luxury vehicles on social media, agreed to undergo HIV and STI testing before going on a planned holiday.

Ramokone’s tests were negative. However, Mbizvo sent him a photo of an HIV certificate indicating non-reactive status, dated January 12, 2021, but allegedly created on January 13, 2021.

Ramokone immediately questioned the authenticity of the certificate. “Later in the evening, he sent me a photo of the HIV 20 document with non-reactive status dated January 13, 2021, while the report was dated January 12, 2021. So I sent him a Whatsapp message and calmly objected. The certificate says it doesn’t look legitimate.

Astonished by his helplessness, I felt the need to pick up the phone and call one of the doctors I knew and trusted and ask him to compare our results. That doctor immediately told me that the certificate was not legal and that in 2021 they would now test for HIV Elisa 1 and Hiv-elisa 2 antibodies instead of HIV-1.”

When confronted, Mbizvo initially insisted that the certificate was genuine. However, when Ramokone threatened to cancel the trip, he admitted that a fellow police officer had forged the document. He then suggested they test again before the holiday to Hoedspruit. Despite this, the couple went to the Limpopo town, enjoying luxury accommodation and expensive meals.

“They took the tests and before they got the results they went to the small town, where they stayed in hostels worth thousands of rand a night. Ramokone said they drowned in expensive champagne while on holiday and ate delicious meals before making love for two days before returning to Gauteng.

On their return, Ramokone insisted on seeing Mbizvo’s test results. After several delays, he claimed to have forgotten them. They then had unprotected sex and Ramokone later noticed Mbizvo removing the condom. After this incident, Mbizvo became unreachable.

Ramokone then started antiretroviral medication to prevent potential HIV infection and reported the matter to the Wierdabrug Police Station in Centurion. He later faced further harassment, including multiple shooting incidents, which he believed were attempts to silence him. After filing the case, he said, he was shot several times by men who he suspected wanted to take him out to prevent him from continuing with the case..

During an attack, he suffered facial injuries and was hospitalized. He also claims that his phone was hacked and listening devices were installed in his home. “Listening devices were installed and drones were seen flying over my house,” he said.

The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) confirmed the charges against Mbizvo through spokesperson Lumka Mohajana. The state plans to file a charge of rape because Ramokone did not consent to unprotected sexual intercourse. Mbizvo had previously attempted to have the charges dropped through submissions to the NDPP, but these were rejected.

Mbizvo’s name has made headlines before, most notably for his tumultuous relationship with socialite Shaleen Nullens. Ms. Shally, former manager of the late Genius “Ginimbi” Kadungure.

Ms. Shally ended their relationship in 2021 following an incident of infidelity. While Mbizvo initially apologized and gifted him a Range Rover, Ms Shally later posted on Instagram stating that she had decided to leave the tycoon.

“I’ll just do me. Over the past few weeks I’ve taken time to reflect. Love is a beautiful thing and what Simbarashe aka ‘Commander of Hell’ and I initially shared was Heaven’s sending. “When you’re dealing with an Alpha male who has different ideas and views than you, you’ll realize you can’t teach an old dog new tricks,” she said, apparently referring to his infidelity.
