Telangana: Man finds dead lizard in beer bottle, video sparks outrage

A shocking incident has come to light in Telangana, where a man found a dead lizard inside a beer bottle. A video capturing the disturbing discovery went viral on social media, sparking outrage and raising serious concerns about food safety and quality control.

In Telangana’s Vikarabad district, two men named Laxmikant Reddy and Anantaya bought a beer bottle for a gathering in Kareli village but made a disturbing discovery: a dead lizard inside the bottle. They had bought the liquor worth Rs 4,000 from a wine shop in Dharur.

In a 30-second video of the incident currently circulating on X, one of the men is seen shaking the bottle to clearly show the lizard swimming inside.

The two men quickly went to the police station and filed a complaint about the incident. According to the Free Press Journal, the wine shop owner suggested the problem may have come from the brewery.

As the video gained traction online and concerns about contamination of supplies grew, authorities are now investigating the source of the problem and trying to address public concerns about beverage safety.

This is not the first time customers have encountered such a shocking experience. A family in Hyderabad had an uncomfortable encounter when they ordered chicken biryani from Bawarchi Biryani through Zomato. When they received their order they found a dead lizard mixed in with the rice.

The disturbing incident was captured on video and shared online, shocking viewers. In the footage, family members are seen holding a plate of rice with a lifeless lizard on it. Later, the man who was affected by the incident protested in front of the restaurant with his family and expressed his complaints.
