PCO warns against fake ‘walang pasok’ announcement

The Presidential Communications Office on Sunday warned Filipinos not to believe the fake “walang pasok” announcement doing the rounds.

“Work in government offices and classrooms at all levels in Luzon is suspended from October 28-31, 2024,” reads the image, which bears the logos of PCO and Bagong Pilipinas.

In its statement, PCO urged the public to only follow announcements made on official government pages. The statement said, “The Presidential Communications Office and the Office of the Administrative Secretary did not decide on work and course suspensions for October 28-31, 2024.” — UN, GMA Integrated News
