Fraud threat involving Covenant School under investigation

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Officers with the Metro Nashville Police Department were called out Friday to investigate two hoax threats against area private schools.

MNPD, The Covenant School and St. reported fake threats regarding St. Paul Christian Academy.

In both cases, various institutions had to respond. Metro Nashville police said a noon call led to St. He said it was related to the Paul Christian Academy, but this turned out to be false. That investigation was closed.

Meanwhile, the fake threat to Covenant School was sent via a chat message to the school’s alarm company.

MNPD detectives were assigned to investigate the source of the chat message.
