Two dead after shooting on Tucson trail

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – The Tucson Police Department is investigating the shooting deaths of two people.

TPD said officers responded to the 3200 block of West 36th Street around 2:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, for a report of a shooting.

Police initially said they found 20-year-old Freddie Hudson with a gunshot wound. He was taken to Banner University Medical Center in critical condition, but died a short time later due to his injuries.

While searching the scene, TPD said officers found a second victim, 20-year-old Jesus Fierro, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives interviewed several people in the area.

Investigators learned that multiple people were at the roadside when gunshots were heard.

Detectives are still investigating what happened before the attack.

There are currently no suspects in custody. Detectives ask anyone with information regarding this homicide to call 911 or 88-CRIME.

This remains an ongoing investigation.
