Restoration of 101 non-emergency telephone line

Phone lines to our control room have been repaired and calls for service are now being re-handled by Avon and Somerset Police staff.

We will continue to ask people to report non-urgent matters online where possible at: Instead of calling 101 to help us manage demand.

People should continue to call 999 as they normally would in an emergency, when a crime is committed or when life is at risk.

External and internal phone lines, other than 101 and 999 calls, remain affected and remain unavailable. Work continues to restore them.
