Police say woman is accused of throwing her dog off a two-story balcony

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A woman was charged with animal cruelty after allegedly throwing her dog off a two-story balcony, according to an arrest affidavit.

The woman, 21-year-old Keosha Glenn, approached the two victims and asked if she could stay with them overnight.

The victims told police they initially agreed to this, but after speaking with property management, they told them they could not have guests with them.

They allowed Glenn to leave his belongings with them for safekeeping and pick them up the next day.

The next day, on October 14, Glenn and six others arrived at the victim’s home and allegedly began knocking on the door.

When one of the victims opened the door, Glenn walked in and pushed one of the victims, causing her to fall to the ground, the report said.

Police allege Glenn then pepper-sprayed the other victim and punched him. Six more people began punching and kicking the woman, according to testimony.

Glenn grabbed his things and started heading out. Before leaving, Glenn grabbed the victim’s dog and threw it off a two-story balcony, breaking the dog’s legs, police said.

Glenn fled the scene by taking a public bus. Witnesses were able to take photographs of him and compare them to photographs of Glenn held by the victims.

Police arrested Glenn on October 24 and charged him with animal cruelty, aggravated burglary and assault.
