Two men stabbed at a party in Huntington Station, one fatally: police

HUNTINGTON STATION, Suffolk County (PIX11) — Two men were stabbed at a party in Huntington Station early Sunday morning, according to the Suffolk County Police Department.

The incident took place around 2 a.m. at 58 1/2 Lowndes Street.

Police responded to a 911 call about the stabbing and located the two men. Justino Alfaro-Avila, 29, was taken to Huntington Hospital and pronounced dead.

The second man, 39, was treated at a local hospital and released.

The investigation into the fatal stabbing continues. Anyone with information is asked to contact Homicide at (613) 852-6392.
