A to Z description of the US presidential election campaign – Firstpost

The stage was set for the election showdown on November 5.

U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump are heading into what is expected to be one of the closest races in modern American history.

But this is more than just a Harris-Trump contest. On Nov. 5, U.S. voters will also elect new members of Congress, thousands of state and local officials, and vote on numerous referendums addressing hot-button issues like abortion.

Polls show the race is so close that a few thousand votes in key swing states will determine the outcome.
