1 person died in crash in Chandler

CHANDLER, Texas (KLTV) – One person died in a crash in Chandler Monday night.

According to Chandler VFD, responders were dispatched to an address on SH 31 on Monday around 8:03 p.m. Upon arrival, they encountered a major accident with two vehicles trapped. According to the ministry, the trapped person was pronounced dead at the scene after being rescued.

Chandler Chief 1, first and third engines, and a total of six Chandler VFD personnel responded to the scene along with UT Health EMS.

The occupants of the other vehicle were taken to a nearby hospital due to an unknown condition.
