NPA urged to give due attention to all cases of alleged child abuse

AfriForum’s Special Prosecution Unit has questioned the state’s apparent failure to properly investigate very serious allegations that University of Cape Town (UCT) Professor Pierre de Vos distributed child pornography on social media. The unit believes this may be a case of selective prosecution and is calling on the authorities. “The NPA was so blinded by the status of the suspect that it may have missed the motive behind these crimes of a serious nature,” Adv says.
