Finding joy despite adversity: How to build lasting emotional resilience.

emotional resilience It is the ability to cope with life’s challenges, to bounce back from difficulties, and to maintain general well-being and happiness. Developing resilience requires conscious effort, self awareness and developing positive habits.
So how can we develop emotional resilience? How can we stay cheerful and strong in difficult times? To begin with, let’s understand what emotion is; Emotion is energy in motion. Although we cannot control thoughts, we can control emotions. we can choose positive emotions such as optimism, courage, love, forgiveness, peace, joy and happiness. All of this will create PEP, Positive Energy Force. On the other hand, we can let NEP take charge of our lives. NEP is Negative Energy Poison and includes: toxic emotions such as fear, anxiety, stress, anxiety, regret, guilt, shame, anger, hatred, jealousy and revenge.
It is entirely up to us to make this choice. If we live with positive emotions, we gain resilience and strength, we become joyful, but if we allow our mind to create poisonous thoughts, we invite disaster. We must not forget that emotions create thoughts, thoughts create emotions, emotions create actions, actions create habits, habits create character, and character creates destiny. So make a conscious choice to choose positive emotions. Choose love over hate, courage over fear, forgiveness over revenge, peace over stress, joy over anger. These emotions are the raw material of our thought factory, that is, our mind.
So what is mind? It’s nothing but a pile of thoughts. THE MIND creates Unhappiness, Ignorance, Negativity, Desires. If we get stuck in the mind, we find misery. If we want emotional endurance, we will have to kill the mind, the mind anyway. We will have to move from a state of mind to a state of consciousness, a state where intelligence shines and helps us discern. Then we will be able to choose positive thoughts and turn hell into heaven.
A great habit we can instill is to learn to respond, not react. So remember this simple acronym: RDR: Respond, Don’t React. What we do is RDX – React, Destroy, Explode. When we react, we become unhappy and anxious. Sometimes we can’t control the actions or words of others or our own situations, but we can control how we react to them.
To nurture joy and strength, we must learn to live with faith, hope, and trust. Belief in a higher power is the key to becoming stronger and more resilient. to practice gratitude It can help us count our blessings instead of focusing on the problems. Connecting with nature, learning from nature, is another way to build resilience. The willow tree is a beautiful example of fortitude and strength. Solid and strong relationships can also help us be happy during difficult times because of the support they offer.
Although all of these are effective in building emotional resilience, the ultimate path to joy, peace and happiness is through spirituality. Spirit is the science of the soul. Being spiritual does not mean renunciation or living like a hermit. It’s about realizing who we are, the truth of this world. We realize that this life is just a drama and that any trauma that occurs in our life is because of our own Karma. We realize that death is not an end, but a turning point to be overcome. Acceptance and surrender can likewise help us develop resilience. If we accept what we cannot change and surrender to the Divine Will, we can be happier and more peaceful.
If we realize the ultimate truth that we are not who we appear to be, but that we are Spirit, Atman, Divine manifestations, this awakening or Enlightenment will lead us to a life of true and eternal happiness, a happiness far beyond pleasure or anything else. The kind of joy experienced by an ordinary person!
