Crash on Fordwich Road at Sturry causes delays along A28 Mill Road

A crash causes long delays and gridlock on a busy road.

Drivers warned on Fordwich Road Sturry and the eastbound A28 Mill Road are affected.

The incident occurred around 17.30. It is not yet known how many vehicles were involved.

It was reported that many emergency service vehicles were sent to the scene and a helicopter was detected in the area.

KCC Highways has issued a warning to motorists via X this evening.

It read: “Report from an RTC near the Fordwich Road intersection. We expect delays in the region. Approach with caution.”
