Driver released after fatal car accident at primary school in Melbourne

Society in shock after the murder of a child and four other children were injured in a “tragic accident” in which a car crashed through the school fence and hit them.

A community is mourning after a schoolboy died and four other children were seriously injured when a car crashed into a fence.

A 40-year-old woman had just collected her child from Auburn South Primary School in Melbourne’s east on Tuesday when the incident occurred.

As he tried to make a U-turn, the car went over the school fence and hit a group of children sitting at a table.

An 11-year-old boy was seriously injured in the accident and died while being taken to the hospital. In the incident, two 11-year-old girls, a 10-year-old girl and a 10-year-old boy were seriously injured and taken to the hospital. Three of the children were taken to the Royal Children’s Hospital and two were taken to Monash Medical Centre.
