Army Hammer He has gone through a “rage” over the last few years following allegations of cannibalism and a sex scandal that led to the negative effects of his Hollywood status and the breakdown of his marriage.

Hammer, 38, admitted in the first episode of his show that public reaction to allegations that he was a cannibal was “crazy”. Armie HammerTime Podcast.

Hammer told his first guest, comedian Tom Arnold, “I’m not going to lie. I kind of like the cannibalism thing now. And I’m like, ‘Hey, I’m a cannibal.'” My favorite.”

“What makes more noise? Is Armie Hammer a cannibal, or maybe Armie Hammer may not be a cannibal?”

Hammer added: “The cannibal thing makes more noise, and you don’t go on an apology tour in this world. Like, someone says something about you, everyone believes it, and then they go on with their lives, whatever it is. We’re focused on ’cause they have their own lives.”

“Call Me By Your Name” star He was accused of sexual assault by an ex-girlfriend in 2017, and also claimed that Hammer raped her “violently” and for “more than four hours.”

Her career was derailed after a series of text messages allegedly detailing sexual fantasies, including references to rape, violence and cannibalism. These were leaked online by an anonymous Instagram account called “House of Effie”.

Another ex-girlfriend, Paige Lorenze, accused Hammer of stabbing her with a knife. His ex-wife, Elizabeth Chambers, filed for divorce in 2020, months before allegations of abuse, rape and cannibalistic fantasies against Hammer became public. Their divorce is finalized last year.

Despite a tough few years, Hammer said he’s “grateful to have gotten through it all, because where I am now is so much better than if none of this had happened.”

He recalled the gradual pace of “taking advantage” and receiving phone calls from his manager saying someone online had told him he was “being abusive.”

“There are no details, but they just say you’re a harasser and that’s starting to attract attention,” Hammer said. When his manager asked if he knew who was behind the accusations, Hammer said, “Yes, I know exactly who that is.”

Hammer noted that online critics fanned the flames, asking her accusers: “Did he rape you? You should call the police.” She said: “And at the time it was written online: ‘He never raped me. There was no need for the police. It was consensual.’ “He was revealing all this after the rape incident was resolved and he hit the fan so hard that it exploded.”

He remembered that his lawyer at that time advised him to be quiet and told him: “You can’t do anything, you can’t say anything. They will open a criminal investigation against you, so you should shut up…”

“That’s why I stayed completely silent,” Hammer said. “For the two and a half years that I was under investigation, I stayed completely silent because I wasn’t going to do anything to make the situation worse.”

Arnold asked: “Was it hard to be quiet?” “Oh yeah, it was so hard because all these people were saying things about me, but there was nothing I could do to defend myself,” Hammer said.

At first, Hammer harbored “huge resentment” toward those who abandoned him during the scandal, from his PR representative to his manager to close friends.

“I was thinking, you guys. You all know me,” Hammer said. “Everyone would call me and say: ‘I’ve known you since you were 19. You’re not this guy. Whoever the monster these people are talking about, we know it’s not you.’ “

The rape allegations led to a nine-month criminal investigation. Los Angeles Police Department. Hammer has denied all sexual assault allegations, and in May 2023, prosecutors announced that Hammer would not be charged in the sexual assault case.

Hammer and his family were the subjects of the Discovery+ docuseries, which explored the “deeply disturbing accusations against critically acclaimed actor Armie Hammer and the dark, twisted legacy of the Hammer dynasty.”

Amid the accusations, he was removed from several films, including Paramount’s “The Offer,” which was about the making of “The Godfather” starring Miles Teller.

He also had to act opposite Jennifer Lopez The role in “Shotgun Wedding” was given to Josh Duhamel. After leaving treatment in May 2021, Hammer was later reportedly seen selling timeshares in the Cayman Islands.

In August, Hammer revealed he had to trade in his truck after claiming he “couldn’t afford” gas since moving back to Los Angeles.
