Number coding suspended from October 31 to November 1—MMDA

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority announced that the expanded number coding scheme in Metro Manila has been suspended from Thursday, October 31, to Friday, November 1, in observance of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day.

“Suspension of the Extended Unified Vehicle Volume Reduction Program (UVVRP) or number coding scheme at Oktubre 31 in Huwebes and provide major support for bundling #Undas,” MMDA said in an advisory.

“There is a special non-working holiday on (Sa) Nobyembre 1, Biyernes, All Saints’ Day,” he added.

(The Expanded Unified Vehicle Volume Reduction Program, or number coding plan, was suspended on Thursday, October 31, and Friday, November 1, to allow cemeteries for All Saints’ Day and the long weekend off-working holiday.)

Meanwhile, Makati City will also suspend its number coding plan starting at 12:00 pm on Thursday, in line with the suspension of government business.

Some local government units in Metro Manila announced: closed roads and reblocking for Undas 2024.

It’s in Malacañang suspended Work in government offices and classrooms at all levels from noon on October 31, 2024 to allow employees to travel to and from the states to observe Undas.
