Teenager arrested for murder after 17-year-old boy stabbed in Marston Green

A 17-year-old boy was fatally stabbed and another teenager was arrested on suspicion of murder.

The victim was treated by ambulance staff at Station Road, Marston Green, near Solihull, on Tuesday evening but died at the scene.

West Midlands Police said a 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.

Supt Wayne Carter said: “We will have additional officers in the area over the coming days and I would encourage anyone with any information or concerns to get in touch.” he said. Station Road remained closed on Wednesday.
