Israeli Military Orders Entire Baalbek Population to Flee or Face Bombs

Residents of the city of Baalbek in Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley were forced to flee their homes and workplaces today after the Israeli army instructed them to leave the city and surrounding villages. The panicked forced displacement comes after two days of escalating Israeli attacks in Baalbek left at least 60 people dead. The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that at least 77 people died across Lebanon in Israeli attacks on Tuesday. Among the dead are 10 people, mostly women and children, who died when Israel bombed a settlement block in the town of Sarafand.
