2 men arrested after neighbors caught them breaking into cars in Warren County

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) – Police cited neighbors and doorbell camera footage in the arrest of two men accused of breaking into cars.

Mykell Matthews and William Smith were taken into custody early Wednesday morning after police received a call about suspicious activity. Authorities said a police officer in the area stopped the suspects in the vehicle.

Investigators said Ring camera video showed the men trying to open the car doors.

Both men are in the Warren County Jail and are charged with attempted burglary and criminal trespassing. Additional fees are also expected.
