A Pennsylvania man accused of seeking sexually explicit images from children as authorities seek more victims, prosecutor says

A West Chester, Pennsylvania, man has been arrested for allegedly possessing, collecting and soliciting sexually explicit images and videos from children online, and authorities say there may be more victims.

Malcolm Kenyon, 25, was charged with unlawful contact with a minor, dissemination of explicit sexual material to a minor, child sexual exploitation and related offenses, according to the Chester County district attorney.

The DA’s office says Kenyon used social media to contact children and solicit explicit images and videos from them.

Kenyon was charged with 100 counts of child pornography in April and has been jailed on $250,000 bail since then. During a hearing on the latest charges, Magistrate Judge Martin Goch set cash bail for Kenyon at $750,000.

District Attorney Christopher L. de Barrena-Saroba said in the announcement that the investigation showed Kenyon may have contacted or had relationships with other children. Anyone with information is asked to contact Chester County Detectives at 610-344-6866.

According to the prosecutor, Kenyon used Google, Dropbox, Snapchat and Discord to receive and store this material.

“Parents should remember that when you give a child a phone, you are giving your child access to the world,” De Barrena-Sarobe said in the announcement. he said. “While restricting and monitoring your child’s apps and social media use, also take steps to educate your child about the internet.”
