“Wizards of Waverly Place” Alum Dan Benson Reacts to David Henrie Blocking Him Following Controversial Comments About the Reboot

Former child actor best known for his role as Zeke Beakerman Wizards of Waverly PlaceThe Disney Channel alum reacted to fellow and on-screen bestie Henrie, blocking her on social media.

In a video published instagramBenson shared a screenshot stating that Henrie blocked her on X (formerly Twitter) and pretended to cry.

“We’ve been acting like we’re best friends for years. How could you do this to me?” he captioned the clip.

Henrie’s move to block Benson comes after the OnlyFans creator tweeted a graphic response to an interview in which Henrie lampooned her about her career choices in the adult entertainment industry.

In a group interview with the new series’ child stars, the actors took an online quiz in which they chose which former cast member they would like to reprise their role. Wizards Beyond Waverly Place.

While reading the list of potential guest stars, the cast burst into laughter when Henrie mentioned Benson’s character. When those moments started circulating on social media, Benson replied Dig thin with a graphical tweet.

“David Henrie can suck my ass—. I’ll pay him more than they pay me wizards “I promise you this,” he wrote.

Benson had previously announced his decision follow adult entertainment He announced that he made a career change after his acting career began to decline and his mental health deteriorated.

The former actor admitted that although he found strength in porn, the venture would likely prevent him from appearing in the new series.

“I think it’s very exciting for fans to relive their childhoods and have old characters they loved watching come back,” he said. TMZHe added that he “loved” the reboot’s premise. “The other part of me is so sad because I know for a fact that I won’t be a part of this. It’s all because of me.”

While Benson “completely” understands why she won’t be asked back, she admitted: “I made the choices that led to that. So, it’s like when I decided to leave, I put in the chance to bring back the character I was playing. I’m on the path to being an adult content creator, and I understand that.”

“So I’m super conflicted, I’m super happy and I like it at the same time. It’s a mix of emotions for me right now,” she explained. “I think I put them in a situation where they had no choice. It’s crazy to be an adult content creator, and it’s even crazier to do it so publicly and be a former child actor on a Disney Channel show.”
