Asmongold believes Twitch will ban him again a week after his return

Streaming star Asmongold believes he will soon be banned from Twitch again after returning to the platform following a 14-day suspension.

In mid-October, Asmongold came under fire for calling Palestinians a “low culture” and saying he lacked sympathy for them when discussing the ongoing conflict in the region.

The World of Warcraft streamer’s comments spread quickly on social media and Twitch, with many viewers calling for the Amazon-owned platform to ban him. The ZackRawrr account was: Hit with 14-day suspension And A number of companies have cut ties with Asmon – Including OTK and StarForge Systems.

This ban has since ended and Asmongold has returned to streaming. He has vowed to visit the Middle East in the new year to “broaden his perspective.” But he also believes Twitch will ban him again before then.

“Listen, I probably won’t get banned for another week,” he said during his October 30 broadcast. “A few more things will probably happen and then I’ll probably have to get banned. That’s what I’m assuming. Maybe we’ll see what happens, I don’t know yet.”

The streaming star said if he was to be banned again he would prefer it to happen after November 5.

“Do you need to survive until Election Day? “That’s true,” he added. “I need to survive until Election Day and not get into trouble. We can have a lot of fun after Election Day.”

After his initial ban, Asmon said Twitch was “inconsistent” in doling out penalties. And he clearly believes he’s embarked on another path of removal.

He also apologized for his previous behavior and stated that he wanted to change the “tone” of his broadcasts. So we’ll have to wait and see what happens.
