According to police, three armed suspects took the safe before fleeing the scene. Police also said that although the restaurant was closed, three women were inside at the time of the burglary. None were injured.

Police classify the crime as burglary rather than robbery because the suspects did not appear to know anyone was inside the restaurant when they entered.
