MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – Riley County police are investigating a rape reported early Thursday in Manhattan, authorities said.

Police officers filed a report for rape and aggravated sodomy at an undisclosed location in Manhattan around 2:32 a.m. Thursday, authorities said.

The victim in the case was stated to be an 18-year-old woman, and an unidentified man was listed as the suspect.

Riley County Police officials said due to the nature of the crime, no additional information would be released.
