Omokri accuses Obi of tribalist agendas

Regarding one of the reasons why he (Omokri) strongly opposed Obi, he said:

“I am against Peter Obi because he is a tribalistic merchant who only cares about his own people and has a hidden agenda of waging war against the Muslim ummah.”

Omokri accused Obi of being selectively vocal about the tragedies, suggesting that he only raised his concerns when they occurred outside the Igbo community.

“His emptiness and lack of grasp of the issues becomes even more apparent when he takes the hot seat to discuss Nigeria’s plans,” he added.

Omokri speaks out on allegations that Obi was misleading about Nnamdi Kanu

Omokri also referred to Obi’s words: Nnamdi Kanuleader of the natives People Biafra (IPOB) alleged that Obi misled Nigerians by claiming that there was a court order ordering the release of Kanu.

He quoted a recent Supreme Court The decision emphasized that the court refused to release Kanu on bail and decided that Kanu should file a lawsuit for treason.

“Contrary to Peter Obi’s IPOB-inspired lies, the Supreme Court ruled on December 15, 2023, that Nnamdi Kanu has a case to answer,” he said.

Omokri also did not hold back from criticizing Obi’s tenure as governor, saying:

“I will not sit and watch a man who built two loss-making breweries but not a single kindergarten, primary school, secondary school or university during his eight-year tenure as Governor of Anambra say he has all the answers to Nigeria’s challenges.”
