3 teens charged in triple shooting in Methuen

Three teenagers have been arrested in connection with a triple shooting in Methuen in October that left a 17-year-old in critical condition, police said.

Jayden Moreno, 18, of Methuen, Reggie Wells, 18, of Salem, New Hampshire, and an unnamed 16-year-old boy face a number of charges, including assault with a weapon to murder, the Methuen Police Chief said. Scott McNamara said: a statement.

At approximately 1:03 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 21, Methuen police responded to 113 Boston St. for a report of gunshots and injuries. went to the area. There, police found a 17-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds, according to the release. Both young people were taken to hospital.

According to the statement, a short time later, a 16-year-old boy arrived at the hospital to receive treatment for a gunshot wound.

Police said the 17-year-old boy was in critical condition. The other two teenagers were later released from hospitals.

Investigators found an untraceable 9mm “ghost gun,” ammunition and personal items.

Moreno, Wells and the 16-year-old boy were arrested this week.

In addition to armed assault to murder, Moreno also faces charges of carrying a firearm without a license, discharging a firearm within 150 meters of a residence, possession of ammunition without an FID Card, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and disturbing the peace.

Wells is charged with three counts of armed assault to murder, carrying a firearm without a license, discharging a firearm within 150 feet of a home, carrying a dangerous weapon, possession of ammunition without an FID Card and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

The 16-year-old is charged with three counts of murder with a weapon, carrying an unlicensed firearm, carrying a loaded firearm without a license, and three counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

The investigation into the armed attack continues.
