Man arrested in murder investigation after woman’s death on the street

A man has been arrested in connection with the death of a woman in Glasgow.

Sandie Butler was found seriously injured after police were called to reports of a disturbance in the St Mungo Avenue area of ​​the city at around 12.55pm on Tuesday.

The 40-year-old young man died a short time later.

Police said that after an autopsy, the death was ruled a homicide.

A 53-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident and investigations into the incident are continuing.
