SC man charged with soliciting teens in Montgomery County

Allen Blake Brown, of Easley, South Carolina, is currently being held there. West Virginia Regional Jail without ties, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.. The sheriff’s office responded to a report of a suspicious person trespassing on a resident’s property on Oct. 20, according to the release. Deputies were unable to locate the person but later found him on the roadway near the home.

According to the allegations in the statement, police identified the individual as Brown and discovered that the complaining resident was “openly chatting with a child” at his address.

Investigators later learned that Brown was also allegedly involved in similar incidents in Virginia, South Carolina, Washington and Michigan, and that those investigations were still pending.
