Three people charged with “heinous” child sex-related crimes in Lebanon County

LEBANON COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)– Three people in Lebanon County have been charged in the sexual assault of multiple children over several years, according to the district attorney’s office.

Police received an allegation of potential child abuse from Christopher and Katherine Longo through a Childline referral. According to the prosecutor’s office, after further investigation, it was determined that many children had been subjected to years of sexual abuse for nearly two decades.

The alleged abuses began when the victims were around five years old. The prosecutor’s office said victims described their experiences, which in some cases included the infliction of pain on victims and sexual acts performed between multiple people.

The District Attorney’s Office said Kelly Longo was aware of the allegations but did not report them to police.

The extensive abuse alleged by the victims was graphically detailed by the district attorney’s office. Lebanon County District Attorney Pier Hess Graf described Katherine Longo as “the lowest of the low.”

“The allegations made by the victims are disgusting,” Graf said, referring to Katherine Longo. “I cannot understand how a set of facts and a set of sexual assaults could be more evil, more disgusting, and more worthy of a Defendant rotting in prison,” Graf said.

Katherine Longo is charged with rape of a child, involuntary sexual intercourse with a child (Victim Under Sixteen (16) Years of Age), Involuntary Sexual Intercourse with a Child, Indecent Assault – Victim Under Thirteen Years of Age, and other related charges. .

Kelly Longo is being held in Lebanon County Jail on $500,000 bail.

Katherine Longo is being held without bail, while Christopher Longo is being held on $2 million bail.
