The complaint alleged that Jane Doe was invited to one of Comb’s photo shoots in Brooklyn in 2004, then attended an after-party where she and her friend were invited by Combs to a “more private party.”

He and his friend agreed and were driven to a Marriott hotel in the Manhattan area by a member of Combs’ entourage, his complaint said. Doe and her friend were allegedly captured and taken to a separate bedroom from the main party and locked inside with the rap mogul.

Combs allegedly gave them alcohol, ordered them to use cocaine and forcibly touched them, according to the filing. He allegedly ordered Doe’s friend to perform oral sex on him or he would have them both killed, and raped Doe.

A security guard opened the door and Doe’s friend jumped out, but Doe was ordered to stay and waited for about a half hour until another security guard arrived and told him he could leave, the complaint said.

U.S. District Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil ruled Wednesday, Oct. 20, that although the case is extremely sensitive and is likely to lead to a high level of public scrutiny if Doe files under her own name, her request to remain anonymous is in the best interest of Combs and the public. , is covered by the “traditional and constitutionally established presumption of openness” in judicial proceedings.

Judge Vyskocil said the woman’s complaint did not provide sufficient evidence that she would face “a significant risk of harm” if her name was made public, and her lawyers “provided no support for that claim” beyond what Combs made 20 years ago. He threatened Do’s life if he escaped during the alleged attack.

The complaint stated that Combs had no contact with Doe in the years since the alleged incident and that Combs is currently in custody.
