Three people, including a woman and her 10-month-old son, died and three others were seriously injured when the car skidded on a hilly road and rolled into a deep valley in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir. The incident took place in Chamalu Morh around 12.40 pm on Saturday. The victims belonged to the same family.

According to officials, the family was traveling in a private Eeco car from their Malikote village to Chassana. It was reported that the driver lost control of the steering wheel, causing the vehicle to go off the road and fall into a cliff. Kulcha Devi (27), her younger son Neeraj Singh and nephew Sandhoor Singh (19) died on the spot.

The injured, identified as Devi’s husband Chankar Singh (32), brother Dhunkar (19) and nephew Ajay Singh (18), were admitted to the Government Medical College (GMC) Hospital in Jammu, where they are in critical condition. situation.

Authorities confirmed that all those involved in the accident were residents of Malikote in Reasi district.
