Michael Agyekum Addo died

Ghanaian entrepreneur and founder of KAMA Group of Companies, Michael Agyekum Addo, passed away at the age of 74.

According to asaaseradio.com, Addo passed away on Friday, November 1, leaving behind a legacy in the pharmaceutical and business sectors.

Addo, who was awarded an honorary doctorate by the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in 2005, had a distinguished career marked by innovation and leadership.

He was among the 88 PhD graduates from the University of Ghana in 2022; This is a testament to his commitment to continuous learning and academic excellence.

He reportedly founded KAMA Group in 1986 and initially operated out of a small pharmaceutical shop in Kumasi.

In addition to his entrepreneurial achievements, Addo also received the title of Nkabomhene of the New Juaben Traditional Area in Koforidua, Eastern Region.
