Police were called to the hotel just before 6.30pm on reports of an overdose.

Police said Hensley’s daughter was already taking a bunch of pills when she started having second thoughts about taking her own life.

The pills were reportedly prescribed to Hensley.

The little girl was unconscious when the police arrived. Police did not release his name.

Hensley fled Mississippi immediately after his daughter was hospitalized for treatment.

Knowing his family was there, detectives tracked Hensley to Huntsville, Alabama, where he was taken into custody on October 14.

He was extradited to Mississippi a few days ago. Cops charged him with aggravated child abuse resulting in serious bodily harm.
