Watch Viral Video: Man injured in bus crash prioritizes beer over recovery, netizens say ‘He was given a second chance at life’

A shocking video has gone viral on social media showing a man who, despite being injured in a road accident involving a bus, chose to grab a bottle of beer rather than seek medical attention.

Simon Smith was walking along Gun Street in Reading, England, when a bus suddenly hit him from behind, pushing him several meters onto the pavement.

Surprisingly, Smith stood up, dusted himself off, and calmly walked to a nearby bar. According to the bar’s owner, Daniel Fraifeld, Smith “pretty much got up, brushed himself off, and went for a beer to relax.” Then an ambulance arrived to take him for a check-up.

The incident occurred on June 24 and CCTV footage recently surfaced on social media. A user shared the video on X and said, “The man who got hit by a bus and immediately returned to the bar is very strong! Beer is very important.” he commented.

“He was given a second chance at life. This deserves a few drinks,” one user commented.

“This guy went to the bar, sat down, ordered a beer and said, ‘You won’t believe this shit,'” another added.

“This clip looks like a roller coaster. Him crashing and then entering the building like nothing happened is the best part, I really hope he’s okay,” a third user wrote.

“This is the hand of God saying ‘this is not your day’. This deserved a drink…of course,” added another user.

Another user said: “The back of his head was hit very hard. This shows that he drank whiskey for a concussion.”

Some users expressed concern, speculating that adrenaline may have pushed Smith to stand up, fearing he might have been more seriously injured than they thought. One user wrote: “It’s just adrenaline; It may collapse when it gets in.”

Another added: “He hit his head hard enough to shatter the windshield. “He may not be aware of where he is and could be seriously injured.”

But, Online Mail He explained that Smith was examined at the hospital and fortunately did not suffer any serious injuries. According to Fraifeld, “he was covered in scrapes and bruises but was released without any permanent damage.”
